How many days do you get a positive opk for?

I got my peak positive opk yeaterday( feb 21/18) .. and i tested today and its still positive..
How long did you get a positive OPK for? 
And is 1dpo tmr?

Last month and this month I’ve had positive OPKs for two days (testing twice a day). The third day last month it was back down to low. Today is day 2 of positive this month. I’m not 100% sure when you ovulate following a positive. I read 12-24 hours but I don’t know if it’s after the first one or the last. Confusing!

Dpo is the days after ovulation. You ovulate 12-36 hours after your first positive. Say your first positive was on 1/1, you would prob ovulate around 1/2, so I would count 1/3 as DPO 1. It’s not an exact science because the OPK just measures the hormones and can’t tell us exactly when we ovulated 🤷🏼‍♀️
