Transverse baby

Taylor

So I had an additional ultrasound done yesterday (today I’m 32 weeks). The only reason for the ultrasound was to make sure my little girl was measuring okay because I haven’t gained a ton of weight and look small (approximately 18-19 lbs as of today), but fundal height was always measuring fine.

Got the results today: baby is measuring a week ahead (they aren’t changing my due date), she’s almost 4.5 lbs, and is currently in transverse position. And they said she should change position and aren’t worried about it. But everything I’ve read says by 30 weeks baby should be head down.

Ps. This is my first and I’m now a little terrified that she’s already measuring a week ahead. (And chances are I’m not going to be able to have an epidural). 😱
