Hi guys has anyone suffering from severe morning sickness and had to take medicine to keep the food down.

I’m 10 weeks pregnant and my nausea and vomiting started when I hit 7 weeks.

I had to go to the hospital several times from morning sickness and has been given drips because of dehydration.

I can’t keep anything down. Even fluids(water, cordial) I will vomit it out. I also had do stop stop working as it was really severe. I’m actually house arrest and can’t go anywhere because of vomiting

I had asked my gp for alternative and she had given me me zofran(ondansetron) I asked her it if it’s safe and she said yes. But I have researched and I found a few articles that’s saying the it could cause birth defects.

Anyone else had this experience. Please let me know. Thank you
