If i get an abortion would God forgive me?

If you are planning ahead to commit a sin, knowing very well it’s a gross sin against God, you can’t expect forgiveness. The bible tells us in Galatians 6:7 “7 Do not be misled: God is not one to be mocked. For whatever a person is sowing, this he will also reap”.
We can’t fool God. If we genuinely make a mistake and we ask for forgiveness then yes, he will gladly forgive us. But if you’re sitting down and planning the sin step by step, that is premeditated and very wrong. He can read our hearts. 
Abortion is condemned in the Bible. God views all life as sacred, even an unborn baby. Life begins at conception so having an abortion would mean taking the life on an individual. 
Please think well about what you’re doing. God is very forgiving but he’s also very clear on his commands and he doesn’t take it lightly when we purposely go against them.

God's grace and mercy is not to be used as a license to sin. if you knowing beforehand that it is a sin to abort and you go do it anyways thats like stepping all over Christ's sacrifice on the cross. not sure what exactly your situation is  but i commited sin and got pregnant with a man i barely knew and i feot so bad and repented. im not going to lie abortion crossed my mind but i couldnt do that to a baby who was at no fault and against God. i prayed alot. God can turn your situation around if you let him. trust him. After much prayer i kept the child ofcourse and decided to marry the father even though i barely knew him i trusted God. my child ended up being twins they are the sweetest boys and the  best gift ❤ and my husband is the most amazing man. im not saying you should go and marry that guy but pray to God for guidance dont stray away even farther than you are.

I admire how much thought you are putting into this decision. I admire that you recognize you have personal dreams & goals to accomplish in your life, that you can admit you don’t feel ready to raise a baby, & that you want to break that cycle of teen pregnancy in your family. I applaud you taking a moment to consider what God would want you to do in this situation. Life is so very precious & I personally am against abortion. You made a choice to be irresponsible & have unprotected sex. You are acknowledging that & thinking through your choices. God will forgive you for those poor choices if you sincerely asking him. However, abortion isn’t just ‘taking care of the problem.’ It is a temporary fix, yes, but it very well will haunt you the rest of your life. You will never truly be able to forget it happened & you will wonder about who that baby would’ve been for years to come. My girlfriend had an abortion when she was 19. She is now older, married, financially stable, & ready to start a family. She has been pregnant several times but cannot carry a baby full term because of the internal damage from her abortion, so she always miscarries. She has so much scar tissue. She was told she’d need a surrogate. She will never feel her own child kick and move within her. She will never get to have that part of bonding with her husband as he rubs her growing belly. This is definitely not the normal case, but she genuinely feels this is her punishment. I also got pregnant young...at 21. Old enough to know I wasn’t ready & to also use protection. In my situation, I was the first to go to college & had an amazing career lined up for myself, also, with an unbelievable job in NY.  A night of drinking & poor decisions changed my future. That baby changed all of my dreams. I eventually married the dad & kept my son. I was very lucky that he was a really good, hard working man & I’m so proud of my son. I can’t imagine life without him. He’s a high honors student, plays multiple instruments, is incredibly athletic, & has lofty goals of his own for his future. I’m excited to see what amazing things he’ll do with his life. Not going to lie: it was so hard back then. I’ve had many moments where I’ve wondered ‘what if’ & ‘where would I be.’ What would have been God’s plans for my life? Now I am older & my husband & I are trying to conceive again after a vasectomy reversal. Going on 13 cycles & we were told it can only maybe happen with ivf & icsi, which could cost $30,000+! It’s been my first glimpse into the deep, emotional struggle many women go through with infertility. There are sooo many women out there that desire & cry out to God every day for babies of their own to love & nurture. Have you given any thought to carrying the baby & then giving it up for adoption? Companies like Angels of Adoption allow you to personally handpick the couple you want to raise that baby? Pray hard about how to handle this situation. I don’t normally respond to posts like these, but felt compelled to in your situation. Hugs that you will find peace in your decision. I will be praying for you.

God gives life - no one else. I promise if you keep the child he will bless your life and provide for you, even if the road is hard. If you are ok with doing it now, your heart is not repentant and an unrepentant heart is not forgiven by God. I promise you that the problems and conflict with your family or friends is only temporary and it's NOTHING compared to the blood that will mark your body and your heart for the rest of your life if you choose abortion. I know this sounds ugly and harsh but I promise you it's the truth. Please pray about it. Don't think about what's easiest, but about what's right. You will be in my prayers!! ❤️

If you repented and acknowledged you were wrong, then yes. That said, sinning first and asking forgiveness later is never the way to go about thing... if you really want to please God, either keep they baby or put it up for adoption. Good luck!
