How long does the first appt last?

I’ll be 6 weeks with my very first appointment. What should I expect and how long is that one typically?

I think it just depends on your doctor. For mine they did blood work, made me pee in a cup and then set a date for an ultrasound.  Probably like 20min total?

Mine have always taken about an hour. My OB doea a full medical history and then a pap smear. I have hypothyroidism so they always do blood work to check my levels. While the labs are running she'll go over any symptoms I've had and check the baby's heartbeat 😊

Mine took 2 full hours! We went over medical history, the genetic testing options and what each was for, I peed in a cup, they drew blood for prenatal screening, had a pap smear, and ultrasound, and set a loose delivery plan with my OB. It was incredibly thorough.

Mine took about 15 minutes. We just went over medical history and confirmed the pregnancy via pee test. My second appointment at 8 weeks I did vitales and blood tests, then at 10 weeks I had my first ultrasound :)
