I'm frustrated

I'm currently on seroquel. I suffer from bipolar type 1. I take 100mg at night and then 50mg around 3. it's helping stable my moods but it zonks me out and drives me insane. I can't function or work. Anyone else have this issue? Does it get better? I have been on it for 7 weeks..
