I’ve been off the depo shot for about two years now, and I got an IUD about a year and a half ago. I haven’t had a period in about six years because of the depo, but I recently started bleeding heavily. My doctor thinks the depo is just finally out of my system and this is my first period. I’m really not excited for it because there is no way to predict anything my body is going to do. Has anyone else had something like this happen? How long did you bleed for the first time you had your period after being off the depo?
