Went to the doctor today and right when she came in I started having horrible pains and she felt my fondus and said I was having a contraction!! So she put me on the monitor and I had several more so she checked me and I’m 1cm dilated and 60% effaced!! Makes me nervous bc I’m only 34+2... so she is taking me out on maternity leave now. I was going on maternity leave after next week anyway but just surprised me about now. I could have probably lasted longer if I had a sedentary job but I’m a RN with 12 hour shifts so that isn’t doable! I’m just hoping little man stays in there until at least 38 weeks!!
