Can you help me feel better?

Question

I went to get my first ultrasound and thought I was just over 6 weeks. The ultrasound said I’m 5 weeks and 1 day and they saw the yolk sac and such. Said everything is normal but I’m still worried. I have read a bunch of stuff already that this is normal and that next ultrasound I should see a baby. I do think they saw the fetal pol as well. I just hate first trimester.

You may have ovulated later therefore the weeks are different. Totally normal

This Happened to me for both my pregnancies. It’s common to be off on your ovulation date. It’s just frustrating because you have to relive that week of pregnancy 😕 but I wouldn’t worry about it!

For 5 weeks thats pretty normal. I measured a week behind too. I'm now 5 days overdue and more than ready to give birth 😂

They wouldn’t see much more than a yolk sac at 5 weeks, the baby is tinnnyyy. You being a few days behind what you thought you’d be only means that you ovulated a little later in your cycle, it does NOT mean your baby is behind in growth. My date was a few days off as well, and they wouldn’t even give me an ultrasound until I was 10 weeks because theres not a whole lot to see up until that point 🤷🏻‍♀️
