BFN- Testing too early?

Question

My ovulation was 2/12. I was supposed to start my period today but haven’t and have no symptoms indicating that it’s coming. I tested this morning and it was negative. I read I am supposed to be able to test 12 days after ovulation. Could I still be testing too early?

I didn’t get a BFP until 11dpo and even then it was so faint. 15 dpo was my true positive.

May be .try in 2 days again .I ovulated on Feb 14 and I getting bfn .
