Got my blood work done on Wednesday to confirm my pregnancy. The nurse called back with my results. HCG and Progesterone levels were great and within range. My Estrogen levels came back low at 171 VS target of >300. I'm currently 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant with our first. My Fertility Specialist put me on Estrogen tablets 3x per day and an Estrogen patch that I am to change out every few days. I wasn't able to ask my doctor the reasoning for this unfortunately. Any one have any experience in this? What are the consequences of low estrogen in early pregnancy? Thanks in advance for any insight!
