Night feedings ? Time to night wean?

Are you still nursing at night ? I read by this age and weight to start night weaning ... anyone done this ? Am I the only one multiple times a night to feed because I’ve conditioned him to expect to eat at night like this 😰🤱🏻

if he is hungry, I say feed! they still need energy boosts to get through the growing times. I still feed mine. he usually sleeps all night every other week. other wise he gets up once or twice to feed.

My 7 month old still gets all the night feedings he wants..but we cosleep so it’s not like I’m fully waking up and going to a different room ect. He’s a big guy, (just shy of 19lbs) but sometimes it’s not because he’s hungry..it’s for comfort, cuddles..sometimes he gets bad gas pains and nursing for a couple of minutes makes him feel better so I let him.

I’ve decided that she can eat once per night and it needs to be after 2 am because that would be 7 hours she’s gone without nursing and is probably legit hungry. She is tiny (13 lb 15 oz) so I don’t want to cut them out if she’s actually eating and not just comfort nursing.

I'm still up several times a night 😩 seems like half the time i can get him back to sleep with just his binky, but the other half of the time only the boob will help him so idk if that means he really is hungry or what? he's been struggling with his sleep lately anyways though.. super restless it seems. I'm just exhausted!

My baby still wakes 2-3 times a night between 8pm-6am to nurse... she sleeps with me and usually goes back to sleep..

My son weaned himself.. well I guess technically I helped. He was sleeping from 630/7 to 430ish. I was feeding him at the time 5oz at every feeding. So I decided to up his ounces to 6.. to try and knock the 430 feeding.. and it worked! He now sleeps 630/7-6/630. He was EBF but now exclusive FF.

My pediatrician recommended night weaning. The doc said that based on my baby's growth she doesn't need night feedings. She has just developed a habit. (She was sleeping 6+ hours a night at 6 weeks but at 5 months it stopped and she was up every 2ish hours.) 
We started night weaning, and it sucks. But in the long run I believe this is best for my family.
Talk with your doctor and do what you think is best. There is no right answer.
