smoking weed while pregnant?

I'm a huge beliver in the medicinal qualities of marijuana but I've been told smoking during pregnancy is bad. I don't want to quit I would just like to know what the risks are. if there is any.

you're fine!!! go ahead, just be careful only because CPS is a bitch of course. this question gets asked so often. the only people who say it isn't safe are the ones who made it illegal and spread misinformation about it.

I smoke with my last pregnancy.  my son is so happy and smart.  he has a very relaxed attitude.  he was my healthiest baby..  my midwife suggested  smoking for my depression.. only down side is how are you smoking it??  think about the chemicals in the paper or the lighter fluid..  you can always vape

cps...honestly im 4months pregnant and this whole time i dealt eith horrible morning sickness ( lasted all day everyday) i was loosing weight blood pressure droped it just sucked so i went back to smoking weed no joke i felt so much better was able to eat hold it down with in two days i gained a lb and my blood pressure went back to normal unfortunately had to stop since i want to be clean by the time shes born dont want to deal wit child protective services they test the baby right after she is born and it stays in the amniotic fluid longer than it stays in our system since stopping the nausea is back and low blood pressure too just wish the state and doctors could understand it helped it medicine 😩 also at 5 months doctors will start drug testing

im 35 weeks and i ate a small edible that got me more high than i expected. would that small edible show in my sons system whenever he’s born?

There’s not enough research on it, and it usually gets tied into cigarette smoking. However I know people who have healthy babies and smoked everyday. Just a personal opinion, but I would reduce the amount you smoke if you do it heavily, and try to incorporate more edibles. But I’m not a doctor nor a mother.

My SIL just had a baby at 39.5 weeks and he was only 5.7 lbs...she smoked weed like a chimney...so yeah low birth weight is a result
