Deliver at Twins at 36weeks?

Question

So I went in for a Dr. Appointment today and stress test. My BP has been elevated for about the last 2 weeks and I have protein in my urine, Also mild swelling. I’m extremely nervous! I go in tomorrow again for a checkup and if it’s still elevated, He will be inducing me on Wednesday. 
Help me out here with successful deliveries around the same time!

I had mine at 35w2d and they were great! No NICU. They ate fine and had no issues breathing. They had to be under a warming light for an hour or so and had to be checked for low blood sugars, but otherwise just small sleepy babies. Good luck!!! 😊

I had my twins at 36 weeks because my BP was too high. My MFM Dr wanted it done at 35 weeks after I left the office but my regular Dr decided she felt more comfortable taking them at 36 weeks since I was on bedrest already and pretty much had high BP the entire pregnancy. They came out perfectly healthy and spent no time in the NICU.

Had mine at 36 on the dot due to preeclampsia - swelled from 27 weeks on, then high bp, then protein in the urine and low platelets two days before delivery. They came out perfectly healthy, no NICU, in my arms from then on. It was me that was sick and the shitshow but worth it for them to be healthy! I was as worried as you are but it all works out :) Best of luck!

I’m having Modi twins and they won’t let me go past 36 weeks even if everything is perfect. Try not to stress, passed 34 weeks things start to look really good

I haven’t delivered yet but if it helps, my MFM said they breathe a sigh of relief when twins are delivered after 34 weeks. Good luck! I bet they will be great!!

I had my twinkies at 36 weeks exactly and had a c-section. Everything went perfect babies were healthy with the exception of my son needing a week of NICU time for temperature regulation. Now they are happy and healthy 8 month olds!
