Foster mom

I saw something that broke my heart today. 😭😭😭 this lady came into my job (I work at a thrift store) with her5 foster kids and she was so god awful to them. One of the teenage girls ran into one of her Bestfriends that she hadn’t seen since he was taken from her Mom. She hugged the girl, they cried together and then she started telling her how miserable she is. After she went back to her foster Mom you could literally hear her yelling and calling the kids names from across the store. It broke my heart

It got me to thinking.. does the state not check in on these kids after sending them to foster homes to make sure they’re ok?! I felt so bad for them 😭
