Wait it out. TMI

I had my daughter a little over two months ago. And my boyfriend and I had sex again for the first time on the first day of my period. I’ve been using birth control(pretty poorly tbh) and have been feeling a familiar fatigue and much hungrier. I’m very nervous I might be pregnant again. Is it good idea to wait until I’m supposed to get my next period?
