What was your recovery like at 12 days postpartum? (After giving birth I was hemorrhaging, lost a lot of blood, my cervix was really low, doctor pulled out a lot of clots, I spiked a fever and I had a first degree tear)

I had moderate bleeding the first two days in the hospital and very little bleeding at about 3 days, I’ve been wearing thin pads and could go basically half a day without changing if I didn’t want to. (I obviously do change pads every couple hours because ew). Yesterday the bleeding was gone. I actually took a pair of panties I didn’t want anymore and went all day without a pad or pantyliner and there was no mess. I went all night without one too and there’s still no blood at all.

I’m assuming it’s gonna start back up so I’m gonna use pantyliners to be safe, but I’m curious if anyone else’s bleeding stopped at this point?

Also, stitches are healed and the pain is mostly just a really uncomfortable feeling. I’m taking iron pills every day by doctors order. There is no smell or itching either.
