Dating Sites

I go on them to remind myself why dating is a terrible idea....at least for me. I have met maybe 5 guys from dating sites and they all turned out to be psycho....like hiding in the bushes with a knife (literally) psycho. I had to jump out of a moving car to get away from one of them, and saw another one getting arrested like 2 days after our first (and last) date....and THIS is what happens when I try to be careful.

But when I meet a really nice guy at an event, at work, or in my neighborhood, he's always got his head buried in his phone swiping left and right or looking up long enough to let me know he's busy on the phone with his long distance girlfriend....sure they've never had sex or even met, but it's LOVE.

How in the name of creation did basically all of my friends meet their husbands on these sites? Maybe they just took all the good ones and left zero for me lol.
