period/pregnant?

I'm 17 and I'm sexually active. i have a copper iud (i have had it since the end of june 2017 due to a pregnancy from before which I couldn't mentally or financially deal with at the time) and my boyfriend does not use a condom but i allow him to finish in me everytime ... i guess you could say i just rely on the iud which i know is wrong. my period was supposed to begin on Friday night and I went to the washroom and seen blood so I logged it into eve just assuming it was my af and stuck a tampon in. but now it is Wednesday and I haven't seen any blood since that time I went to the washroom. What do i do now? I really hope there was no situation of the iud not working .. please no negativity:(
