Tips for Chafing??

Hello Ladies 👋🏻

So the past two days I’ve decided to start making small changes in my life to work on becoming a healthier me and the first step was to make a daily task out of walking and taking my dogs with to help them walk off some energy.

It’s a small step but I’m enjoying it, especially with the gorgeous weather we’ve been having here in IL.

Anyways, down to the point...I’m a larger woman and as such chafing is an issue for me. I’ve already got one really sore spot right in the crease where my public region and top of my thigh meet. At first I thought I was wearing the wrong underwear the first day, so I tried a different pair but that just made it worse today.

Now this isn’t limited to larger women as I’m sure all women have suffered from this, but what can I do to prevent chafing when walking?? Would baby powder be a good idea (since chafing is usually cause by friction)?? And any after care tips to help it heal faster?? I’m gonna take a break from walking tomorrow and I know it’ll start to feel better but then I’ll walk again and possibly aggravate it.

Any and all tips are appreciated!!

P.S. I hate to have to say this, but from seeing many posts on here I feel it is warranted...everyone please keep it positive!!
