Is it really true that if you start the pill any day but the first day then you have to use protection for 7 days ?

I’m on feanolla and if you take it the first day of your period you’re protected straight away, if you start on any other day it takes around 7 days.

You gotta be on birth control for a month before it's considered safe to have sex without condoms but birth control doesn't always work and neither do condoms but if they're used together than it's a higher chance that pregnant
