Why cant I make a doctor appointment and show up and see a doctor. Why is this so difficult?!

The first doctor I saw gave me the run around for 3 months, so when my insurance changed at the beginning of the new year I made an appointment with a different doctor.

Naturally you can't make an appointment for the next week, so I had to wait about 3 weeks to even see a doctor 2/8.

Went in, talked, got blood drawn. Was told by the Dr that I would need to fill out some release forms to send them the stuff the first Dr had done, and they would call and set up an appointment to review the results.

I waited about a week and then called them. They had no idea the Dr wanted follow up appointment. So I made one over the phone then, for today.

I'm currently on CD 45 and have been holding my breath for some semblance of answers or information for a few weeks now. I showed up this morning and my Dr is out of the office until 3/13. They forgot to call and reschedule.

I asked if there was any way I could discuss with anyone else the results of my lab work. They made me an appointment with a different doctor next Wednesday. 3/7. So I asked if they could upload my lab results to their online patient portal. They can't until after the Dr discusses them with me.

It will be a MONTH between getting blood drawn and seeing any results. We have been trying to get pregnant since September 2016. I am exhausted, emotionally strung out, and frustrated.

Why is this so difficult?!?!

Moral of the story: Start trying to get Dr help at 6 months not 1 year. Maybe then you'll have some form of an answer by the 1 year mark.
