So my dh has been talking about getting a new job... and well he saw an acquaintance who offered to put in a good word for him where he works at. Today he called telling him they had an opening but said job is actually a traveling job setting up turf. now I don't know the specifics of it but I do know that they are away most of the time. We recently got married six months ago and have no children. I asked if there was a mere possibility of me going with him since we dont have kids. He just grunts and says that we weren't born attached at the hip and that only the big bosses get to bring their families along. I feel that if he were to take this job it would hurt our marriage. We have already been through so much in a span of 6 months we lost our mothers and miscarried our baby. I don't think I would be able to take the strain of being left behind for weeks on end. We live with his family and although I get along with them it just wouldn't be the same. I have no family I could move in with being that my older brother is married and has 5 kids and my younger brother is single and just rents a room.

Just wondering if any of you ladies have gone through this and how did you deal with it.
