Braxton Hicks?

Hey everyone FTM,
I’ve been having constant dull pain today sort of like period Cramps but it doesn’t come and go it’s just a dull pain is that what a Braxton hicks is?  Baby is very happy and kicking away

I had that with my daughter and it was perfectly normal. As long as there’s no discharge or stabbing pains. I would get lower back cramps too like I was on my period. Make sure you drink tons of water. I noticed they would be worse if I hadn’t drank enough H2O that day.

Yes Braxton Hicks can feel like mild menstrual cramps! & they usually go away when you walk or change positions.

Braxton Hicks is when the abdomen tightens for a few seconds to a couple minutes then relaxes. They are not quite as intense as real contractions though (you won't really know that distinction until you have real ones), they're usually not uniform all over the abdomen, and they go away if you do things like shift position, drink water, rest on your side, etc.
