6:07 am Baby is still head down Station -1. I am 4 cm dilated and 70-80% effaced. Medium soft cervix. Currently just on fluids. Having regular contractions on my own just not feeling them.
Pitocin will be started shortly
7:15 Started pitocin.
7:52 Contractions are already three minutes apart. Mild discomfort.
8:19 They’re a little bit closer together. I feel them in my back. Uncomfortable enough I close my eyes and try to breathe. Still only a four on a pain scale of 0-10.
8:27 Increased pitocin for a third time and moved me to my side. Baby’s heart rate has slowed but we’re sure she’s just sleeping
8:29 Pain lessened after changing positions
8:47 Still a 4 and 70-80%. Definitely more uncomfortable. Monitoring contractions internally now. Baby is at station -2
9:01 Pain at a four between contractions. Eight or nine during.
8:33 Breaking water now
9:02 contractions are Two minutes apart
9:19 Asked for epidural.
9:28 Decreasing pitocin. Contractions too intense they said
10:01 Receiving Epidural now
11:20 Had to get epidural twice. Not feeling contractions now. They want everyone out of room until catheter is successful.
11:22 They stopped pitocin for a while because they were too intense and close together. My heart rate shot up for a while and I almost passed out but I’m feeling better now
11:52 7 cm and 90%Super stretchy.
11:55 Pitocin on lowest dose
11,57 Increasing pitocin a tad
2:21 Feeling some pressure with contractions.
2:22 Pressure is increasing a little with each contraction. I have a feeling soon
2:28 Feeling the pressure- trying to judge when to call nurses
2:47 10 cm and she’s low. Theyre letting my body decide when to push
2:54 sent everyone out
2:56 Dark head full of hair. Can see hair inside... she that low. Not pushing but shes crowning. No pain.
