Flat head syndrome???

Has anyone else had a baby with this? My sons head is getting bad!! And he refuses to lay on the other side. It’s so aggravating.

Talk to your pediatrician, I know in some cases they can use helmets to correct it.

We’re in the same boat, physical therapy is on Thursday. It’s all about finding a way to get them to turn their head the other way to put pressure on the spot that’s put too far.

My son’s is like that as well. He was just diagnosed with torticollis and plageocephaly at his two month visit and starts physical therapy next week to hopefully correct it without needing a helmet. The sooner you go in the better. I would call his pediatrician ASAP! If he always turns it the same way, he could have torticollis. If so, the flat spot can’t get better until that is fixed.

It’s happening to mine, I’ve been using a jovvy? Head rest pillow. I bought it at babies r us and it’s to prevent the flathead. I also hold her as much as I can and try to do Tummy time a lot

My son will be 3 months on Tuesday. he has a flat spot on the back of his head so i started doing a lot more tummy time and trying to keep him off his head during the day. but he sleeps in a rock n play at night and sleeps 8 to 10 hours constantly on his back. I am so paranoid he is going to need the helmet.
