2 years is a long time, I would wonder why the wife would with hold it for that long unless for a medical reason. Although Love is very important in a relationship sex is still a very big part. If your not interested in each other sexually anymore for two years I would think there’s many more problems going on in the relationship.

No. My parents were together 4 years before marriage and they waited. My dad never once cheated on my mum because he respected her (and still does). I know a number of people who’ve had similar experiences. Personally, my SO and I have had the potential to be physically apart for multiple years and I asked him once if he could wait that long. He said it’d be hard and he’d hate it, but he loves me and would never hurt me like that. I know a military couple that have been apart nearly 2 years now and they’re both not cheating (to my knowledge at least, but I’m close to them both and know what they’re like and their opinions on cheating). If you love someone you respect them no matter what. Someone that loves you would not be able to consciously hurt you so horribly and put their relationship with you on the line like that.

I think it may make someone think about it but if he truly loved you, he would discuss these feelings with you.
