I keep seein women use OPK’s for Pregnancy Tests. What’s the deal?

I accidentally found it I was pregnant by an opk. It was after a miscarriage and I didn’t know where my cycle was at. The opk was extremely positive so I took a pregnancy test and it sure was positive. Obviously you should take a pregnancy test to be sure though!

I tested and it does work.. but opk wasn’t positive until days after pregnancy tests showed positive. Definitely not for early testing ..so what’s the point lol?! Just use hpts.

So they do work as pregnancy test, but you’ll get a result dayssssss later than just using a normal pregnancy test. So it works but...what’s the point 🤷‍♀️
