breastfeeding advice???

I'm a first time mom my son is gonna be here in 3 months I plan on breastfeeding/pumping him I was wondering what nipped cream would be best and there's any tips or advice I'm feeling a little clueless in this department since my mom and friends bottle fed any advice ladies???

My mom is a lactation consultant. Most hospitals have them on staff and they are a free, educated resource to use! I had good luck with lanolin cream, but if it is your first baby the first couple of weeks your nipples will be very sore. Proper latch will help this. Stick to it. It’s an amazing bond for you and baby, healthy for you both and FREE! :) i also used coconut oil in between lanolin. Coconut oil is so good for so many things! I later used it on my newborn for her dry skin and then newborn pimples. It works wonders and is all natural. Good luck

contact your local wic department. they have breastfeeding classes and will help you a lot throughout your breastfeeding process. 
attached is the nipple cream, must clean nipples off before latching baby. you'll need breast pads too cloth or disposable your choice. learn how to latch baby or to hold baby while feeding. rotate between breast (right boob first then left boob, then next feeding do vice versa) you may need to pump if your breast get really full between feedings. if you feel your supply is low, then there are lactation recipes to make or lactation cookies to buy online
 or in store.

I can’t recommend any because I am also due in June with my first baby,  my insurance covers breastfeeding classes, maybe you can look into if yours does also just to get some answers with stuff.

Don’t give up! Breastfeeding is hard but it is amazing! Use the lactation consultants! They can seem pushy but they are very helpful! As for the nipple cream, I had a horrible reaction to lanolin (medela brand) but I found the honest company nipple butter was amazing! Good luck!
