Irregular heartbeat?

I was just laying in bed and I started having heart palpitations. I’ve had them before but this was different. It was scary even though it was only a couple seconds long. My chest hurt and I actually thought I was dying

Use to happen to me 24/7 I took a stress test and even wore a heart monitor.. went to the nurse one day my heart was beating 150 beats which is not normal for a 19 year old.. normally is normal for a baby in the womb.. one day I was laying in my bed and it came out of nowhere I was soooo scared.. nurse told me to hunch over and hold my breath until my heart slows down and goes back to regular pace.. I always hate getting them and I’m not sure if it’s anxiety.. one day I had it for nearly 30-45 months straight! I thought I was going to die .. but I’ve read it can happen up to an hour.. I find whenever I’m stressed I start getting them so I think that’s what triggers mine.. haven’t had on in maybe two years. Or maybe if you have one I use to take a brown paper bag and breathe in through my nose and out through my mouth and stayed as calm as possible. Sometimes when I caught it coming on I’d get really still and stay calm and it just goes away.

Have you talked to a doctor about it? 
Personally, I’ve always had heart palpitations (sometimes BIG scary ones that make me feel close to passing out). I had my heart all checked out and it all looked normal. 
For me, it’s just part of my anxiety/panic disorder. But getting checked at least put my mind at ease that I don’t have anything serious going on. 
I’ve found that avoiding caffeine, cutting out sugars, getting 8 hours of sleep every night, and doing things to alleviate anxiety have helped me personally.
