when to introduce bottle??

right now im exclusively breastfeeding and only pumping to store/ keep my supply up. but I'm exhausted. i want my SO to be able to wake-up sometimes and feed the baby.. so I'm wondering when is the best time to introduce a bottle? my boy is only 8 days old so i kinda feel like a bad mom already wanting to give him the bottle but it would only be at night so i can get a bit of sleep.

I gave my baby bottle at about a week. He had no issues nursing as well

We plan on doing both. I want my SO to have as much feeding time with the baby as I do when she arrives.

They Had to give me daughter bottles in the hospital to help with her jaundice. I EBF and she gets bottles once in a while to helps me get rest there is no shame in giving her a bottle once in a while. Fed is best! Get some sleep

Most lactation consultants will recommend at least 4 weeks. Plus if dad is giving baby a bottle at night you’ll probably have to wake up to pump or your supply could drop, just another thought!
