I’ve been working with my 7-month old daily to sit up unassisted. I put her on the floor between my legs with a toy in front of her, like I was taught. But for some reason she will only sit up for about 10 seconds on her own and then fall over. She shows no interest in sitting right now and she slumps over still.

What am I doing wrong? I know she may be a bit delayed. Her Dad has a very mild learning disorder and I believe she might as well. She was also a tiny baby at birth. But I just can’t help but be depressed about her not reaching her milestones on time.
