Would you, or have you ever tried, intermittent fasting?

I’ve been doing it for a few months and have lost a lot of weight. I don’t crave as much food and have noticed how much better my period goes. I usually have horrible cramps and lots of bloating but this time around I barely had any cramps and had no bloating whatsoever. It was the smoothest period I’ve had in years. IF has helped me not worry about food and I want to recommend it to anyone! It’s a pattern of eating in which you don’t eat (fast) for around 16 hours, and have an eating window of 8 hours. Personally I fast around 18 hours now and have a 6 hour eating window. It helps you have bigger meals in a smaller time period and that way you don’t feel like you’re restricting yourself even though you are. Some people talk crap about it but honestly I’ve had a great experience with it. I don’t know how much weight I’ve lost since I don’t have a scale while I’ve been studying abroad but I’ve noticed significant changes.
