Does anyone else think it’s inappropriate to post miscarriage pics??

I’m sorry if this offends anyone but having been through a miscarriage myself and trying to work through the anxiety of being pregnant and not have the same thing happen again, these posts and pictures are absolutely horrific. 
I understand the reason why people post them but the only people that can confirm anything is your doctor or midwife. 
Personally I think if you are concerned something is wrong, don’t post it on here and get to the hospital! 
Think about the affects they are having on all the other mums to be. Miscarriage is a scary thing to go through and every pregnant woman worries it could happen to them. 
Again, I am sorry if this offends but this really isn’t something to post online, if you feel you need medical assistance or the opinion of someone to put your mind at rest, go to the hospital!! It’s easy for someone who isn’t medically educated  to give you the wrong advice and cause even more distress.

That’s the beauty of the internet. People have the freedom to post what they want. Most are TMI and clearly titled. Obvious to me, just don’t open the post 👍🏼

For myself, having 3 miscarriages and all of them very different, it’s been a way to see it doesn’t just happen to me and now I can somewhat be a support to others. Nobody in my life knows I’ve had 3 miscarriages besides this incredible app and hubby, so giving that support to others and being there for someone going through that, is essential for the closure and understanding. I’m currently pregnant again, but I know if it happened again, I would have this group and community for support. If you are being triggered by the posts, usually they do have a TMI and I would just suggest not opening them or hiding the posts all together to not see them.

There’s usually a tmi posted on it. If it offends you don’t open it. People are free to ask for help from other women that’s why this app is here

There should be a group for that. For sensitive topics and even miscarriages. Just REPORT the post to put the post in the appropriate chat group.

Being pregnant myself, I completely agree with you. I don’t know why they feel the need to post that on a pregnancy app knowing that other women are currently pregnant. Just the headline “I miscarried” TMI.  I don’t need to see that as I’m scrolling down. Pls speak with your family and doctor for support.

I completely agree. It’s no one’s fault but myself but I have high anxiety this pregnancy dealing with the baby. Seeing miscarriage pictures bothered me and increased my own anxiety. As an adult I could have undownload the app, but i always had questions and it was good to get a response. I felt horrible for the girls who are going through that scare or miscarriage , I just wish there was an active site they go too. I have checked out the group for that and it’s pretty dead. They’ll never get a response.

I find out tomorrow if my pregnancy is viable... so I agree completely that those images are hard to see.
