So I had a miscarriage in December at my nine week ultrasound. Baby measured at 8 weeks and no heartbeat.

Well.... I just found out this morning that I’m pregnant again! Excited but nervous! Can anyone offer any advice for what sort of tests I should get done ?? Last time my doc didn’t see me until the 9 week ultrasound appointment and I am not letting this happen again. I’m assuming I should make an appt ASAP so they can do blood work test my progesterone levels etc. just trying to take matters into my own hands this time and be my own advocate. Wondering if I should even see a specialist such as a maternal fetal specialist. I am 38 and will be 39 in June and want to make sure everything is going fine until it’s god forbid too late like last time. Thanks in advance for your advice!
