My dad went too far

Yesterday night my dad asked me to come into the living room to ask me a question but I was preoccupied playing video games online with my friend. He asked me if I remembered something and I quickly said no and went back to my room and that got him upset so he yelled and asked for my games power cord so I clearly was upset to I threw the chord in his room and went back to mine then he yelled again louder than before for me to give it to him in his hand so I came over put it in his lap and walked away and yet still he was angry. Then he walked toward me angry and grabbed me by my throat as he’s yelling but I don’t remember what he was saying. Then I ran in the bathroom and he proceeded to bang on the door for me to open it. I eventually did and he came in and I went to the other side away from him.he came in and after a screaming match I basically had a panic attack and freaked out and told him to please just get out that hesright I’m wrong and I get it. He finally left and then as he walks to is room I heard him kicking my crying and screaming. Then when I sat down I noticed a little souvenir he left me.

I don’t know what to do. I’m 17 and legally I can move out but then leaving my brother and sister here would be wrong and also I need my fathers information if I’m ganna get financial aid for college next year....

This ain’t the first time this has happened and honestly I don’t know if I can handle another time....

**EDIT**: for those calling me a brat and basically saying I deserved it I was not disrespectful I have him what he wanted and said nothing when giving to him that would make it disrespectful. He has hit me before and has been hitting me for years with belts, ropes, cords. I’ve only stayed because my mother is gone and I do not want to subject my brother and sister to foster homes just because my dad hates me.
