New girl

So im the new girl in school. i switched schools in the middle of the year and it's been about 1 month. I know I just got to the school, but I saw this really tall guy and I actually like him alot. Finding a guy taller than me at my age is kinda difficult because im 6ft tall and only 13. The problem is I don't really know how to introduce myself or get to know him more. I don't only like him because he's tall and cute. I like him because he's sweet and funny. Can you give me some tips on what to do?
