why isn't miscarriages talked about openly?

I recently had a miscarriage and I've always wanted to know why people don't talk about them. Yes, it's hard and emotionally overwhelming. But I feel like it needs to be talked about. I lost my child. Doesnt matter how far I was, I will never get to know what they could've been and that breaks my heart every day. Let me know what you ladies think. I'm so happy I have this app to talk with other women about our losses.

I completely agree - it’s something that people don’t talk about but it’s a common part of life for a lot of women. I was amazed after having mind as I talked to clients, friends, and family to find out how many people I knew personally had had miscarriages...even recent ones! 
I’m so glad I’ve had this app to talk to other women about this. I definitely wouldn’t have made it through without this and my husband’s support...I can’t imagine what it must have been like for women before the internet . They must have felt so alone!

I get told constantly that I make people uncomfortable because I speak openly about my miscarriage and the child I lost. I tried just ignoring it and not talking about it and it put me in a terrible place. once I started openly talking about it and him I have been in so much better of a place.

I think people don’t know what to say. Or say the wrong thing and that makes the woman who has miscarried not want to talk about it any more.
