Molluscum contagiosum??

I’m convinced I have this in my genital area. Has anyone else dealt with this and if so what was your experience and treatment efforts like? 
Replies are greatly appreciated I’m so depressed over this

I had it genitally too. Don’t be depressed, it will always go away, you won’t have it your whole life. It can be ugly and annoying but at the end of the day it’s harmless. I got prescribed aldara and it completely tore my skin up down there so I’ve just been using apple cider vinegar which seems to dry them out.

make sure it’s actually MC it could b razor burn or an ingrown hair a doctor told me it was just an ingrown hair and then i self diagnosed and went to another doctor and had it confirmed. a good way to tell is the way they look and also if it’s an ingrown hair you’ll be able to pop it MC won’t pop it will just bleed all around the bump but u won’t be able to pop the actually bump. I’ve been to PP i also went to my main doctor and at first PP was doing the cryo therapy(freezing them off) which did work but the problem is you have to keep going back and even tho u r getting the frozen off it doesn’t mean they aren’t contagious. my main doctor recommended I buy pure salicylic acid, she wouldn’t prescribe any cream saying “it’s not worth the money and it will go away on its own.” I personally haven’t found anything or anyone very helpful, I have read that putting apple cider vinegar on the bumps helps them go away, i tried this it didn’t work for me personally. the salicylic acid is helping a lot a few have went away completely but others have popped up. u can get the SA at the drug store for around $5, it does burn very badly. You want to make sure u only put the acid on the bump don’t coat it skin in it, also use a new q-tip for each bump. u don’t want to spread the virus. Also taking a immune support helps. I’m currently taking Lysine. Also don’t touch them if u do wash ur hands. use a new towel everytime i shower and don’t have sex bc you will transfer them from skin to skin contact. they do go away it’s just super annoying!! there’s no health risk, it is very depressing at times and hard to deal with but just remember its not for life and once they are gone they are gone, unless u come back into contact with the virus.

You need to go to a dermatologist. They can freeze them off.

Or this stuff called beetle juice...the put a dab on them and in 30 minuets you wash it off. And it will blister up and will go away. I had to do that with my 2 year old freezing off takes to long.
