Is high end makeup eyeshadow better than drugstore eyeshadow?

for my birthday I want my twin sister to get me eye shadow from Sephora. I've never had high end eye shadow and I really want to improve my makeup looks. she says that it's just a gimic. I believe that high end eyeshadow would be more pigmented than the profusion pallet I've been using. after just a few hours it collects in the crease of my eyelids and I have to reapply. any thoughts?

try colourpop. they're affordable and AMAZING. they have promotions often so keep an eye on that. I'm totally spoiled from their shadows, I can't wear any other brand, even the really high end ones.

I buy the sparkly eyeshadow for 2 dollars at my local store, and it is the best in my opinion.

Use concealer for a primer, it works the same and ends up being cheaper. Just don’t forget to set it so ur shadow doesn’t crease!! But it depends on preference and the brand. There are some amazing high end and some terrible high end palettes, and the same goes for drug store. Some really good drug store brands for eyeshadow are NYX and morphe. Morphe is my favourite, cause you get so many shadows for like $35 (16 or something). And for high end the Anastasia palettes are really good to, I believe you get about 12 shadows for around $60, so it’s more pricey. And the urban decay naked palettes are really good to but it’s like $85 for 12 shadows. So it’s really up to you. I recommend reading up on review before hand. Good luck girl xx

Just use concealer on your lid as a primer & then set it with a loose powder or powder the color of your skin. But yes girl, the Modern renaissance pallet blends like a dream. But get the Jaclyn hill pallet from ulta, it’ll last longer & more variety
