tell me about your period?!?!

so, pcos lady here. since i started my period at 13, they have always been super long...2-3 weeks of bleeding. usually i would spot for several days before and after the actual flow. it’s been several years since i have had bleeding consistently though...i’m currently working with a dr and acupuncturist to get things sorted out, but what does your period looks like? i mainly want to know if spotting before and after is the norm or if many people just start their flow. my last cycle, i had 6 days of spotting, then it was light for 2-3 days, then heavy for 3-4, then gradually went from medium to spotting to end in 6-7 days. just want to compare!
