How to buy myself a menstrual cup?

Hi- 
I have learned plenty about menstrual cups, how to use them, all the positive and negatives and have decided I really want one.  The only downside is my mother- I've asked my mom multiple times if I could get one... and every time I end up getting shutdown and she uses this "drop the conversation now" tone of voice. I haven't asked her by offering to pay for it myself, but she most likely won't let me, saying it's a waste of money. Her reasoning is that they “don’t work” and they’re only good “in theory”. I’m fifteen and have had my period for over a year now- I’ve tried tampons (which she is totally fine with) and I hate them due to them being uncomfortable and drying so I usually use pads... but I hate those too since they’re bulky and I always seem to get leaks. 
I have an amazon account and am thinking about buying one somehow with a gift card or whatever but what I’m not sure about is what I’ll do after- say I get a menstrual cup and stop using disposable pads/tampons, my mom would notice and at that point she’d ask and I’m not sure how I’d get around that. Should I ask her another time? Confront her after using it a cycle?

They are way better for you than tampons. I can tell you they aren’t a waste of money and do work! They are expensive like the one I bought in Walmart was 40$ but since you only need one and lasts for years it saves you a ton of money! Once you learn how to use it correctly it’s the best thing ever! You can leave them in 12 hours at a time. Take it out, dump it, rinse it, put it back in.

There are a lot of people against it because it a relatively new concept and a lot of people don't like change when it comes to such an intimate topic. I can honestly say that it is so much better than tampons and pads, its cost efficient, it's going to save you so much money, you won't be generating waste; so you're helping the environment, it won't cause toxic shock (at least the diva cup won't, I don't know about others) it's small and it's flexible. The only cons I can think of are the mess you have when putting it in, and not putting it in properly. I always advise wearing a panty liner when you are first learning so you don't stain anything. But good luck, I hope your mother becomes more open minded about the benefits of a menstrual cup. ☺️
