Do your boyfriend/husband throw up in your face what he does for you and yall's family?

Everytime my fiancé and i get into an argument he says really hurtful things and throws up what he does or have done & what i dont do . He provides for our family while i stay at home with our 10 month old and is currently 20+3 pregnant with our second son! Its like he wants to be praised for what he's suppose to do as a man

Anyone talking about gender roles in this situation.... smh. You can’t talk about anything without ppl trying to put words in your mouth. He’s supposed to step up as a man in regards to work. Work could be at home or somewhere else; as a stay at home dad or a mechanic either way NOBODY was talking about gender roles

When someone does something for someone else and they do it from the heart they don’t have the need to brag about it. Maybe he’s just not feeling appreciated.

Nope and if my husband did that we'd go rounds. Because he works his ass off, and he comes home and helps me. But I also work my was off raising our 3 kids and working from home. We are a team and are equal. He shouldn't be throwing anything in your face. Raising kids is a full time job in itself.

I don't believe in gender roles completely as roles change all the time especially in this day and age. What I do believe in is if you're doing something for someone it's because you chose to.... after all no one put a gun to his head. Your S/O needs to calm down and realize you are helping just as much as he is albeit not financially. I would remind him every time he brings up what he does that I do just as much. This seems disastrous honestly.
