Did it feel different the first time you had sex after your Mc ? I'm trying to prepare myself mentally for what to expect. I never had a Mc before so idk what to expect. after I had my daughter I was afraid to have sex because I thought it would hurt or wondered about being open down there and infection. I don't want to wait months to try again so can you ladies please give me some advice or tell me how it was your first time after your mc thanks

We got the greenlight from an obgyn who performed an ultrasound on me 2 weeks after a D&C; and confirmed my cervix was closed.
Very spontaneously, the next morning, my partner and I resumed our intimacy. We had missed each other so it felt great. There was no sadness, on the contrary, as far as we’re concerned we’re back in the business of TTC our child.
It’s possible to celebrate the joy of being intimate with the man you love and the renewed possibility for fertility.

After my MC it took about a month to get back to the way it was before. I think it was mostly in our heads. He thought he might hurt me and I was still just sad. I've spoken to a few other women and they said sex didn't change for them. My two of my sisters have had MC and they both were really emotional after, so I was prepared to cry too. Every women is different and handles things differently. I would say to give yourself the time you need.

Make sure you take time to heal before you get into it. It took a awhile like 2 months after to get myself to have sex again. It hurt and I felt like a virgin all over again.
