Honestly from my point of view(which does it really matter?), neither. I think they are both weird and will give the teachers and substitutes a giggle attack when they see it. I have been both, and maybe I’m an asshole but it is hard to keep my countenance at weird names.

Rennin is an enzyme that curdles milk in the stomach of young mammals. That’s what I think of when I hear Rennen so I’d go with the other name.

I love different names I do! And i say go for a different name, but Salem reminds me of the cat on Sabrina or Salem witch trials (which is what the vet was named after. The place). And rennen someone said it’s an enzyme and reminds me of renal failure if you were to pronounce it like reeeeenen. You could do just Wren or Lennon if thatsthe sound you were going for. I’m not being rude, just giving you a few things to think about so you don’t regret it later.
