Im just wondering if anyone else has been advised to take a low dose asprin everyday by the doctor? When I went for my scan, the consultant told me that a low dose asprin is safe and can prevent many problems in pregnancy. He told me, women at high risk for preeclampsia who took low-dose aspirin every day after their first trimester lowered their risk of the high blood pressure complication by 24 percent. Plus, their risk for preterm birth dropped 14 percent, and their risk for intrauterine growth restriction dropped 20 percent. Also is better for mum for blood loss after birth and blood clots. I had a low birth weight baby no.1 as she was premature and im this pregnancy my blood pressure has gone up slightly and have a bit of protein in my urine.
