When to take baby out

Question

So my love bug will be born in July and I’m just trying to think of when her first outdoor outings should be. What is to soon or too much?
Zoo- Nb- 2.5 months
Pumpkin Patch- 3.5 months
Apple Picking- 4 months

We went shopping day 3, brunch day 5, never stopped going out. Babies can go anywhere when they come home unless otherwise directed by their doctor

we had our baby out and about on week 2. walmart, the park, out to eat. he's been everywhere with me

my twins were born 4 weeks early and I had them out ten days after they were born for labor day . truly is your preference

My baby was out at grocery and other stores with me probably 1-2 weeks after birth. And with a summer baby, you don’t need to worry about cold/flu season like a winter baby. I think it’s cute that you already have plans so specific like that. I say go for it!

Brought my son to Walmart and the airport at 5 days old. Kept him in the carrier against my chest though. He slept the whole time!

I say take her to all those places. My son was out for his doctors appointment and then we went to breakfast at 3 days old. We went camping for a weekend at 5 days old. And we took a trip to the beach for a long weekend at 3 weeks old. Babies don’t need to be cooped up in a house if you’re careful. Don’t let random people touch your baby. Don’t allow your baby to be in direct sunlight that early on. Don’t go in spaces where there’s not good ventilation such as a train or airplane. The biggest worry that young is them getting sick since they are too young for their vaccines which is why people lock their kids up until their 2 months old. Again just be careful and cautious. My son was born in May. So it was the perfect time to get outdoors and have fun as a family of 3.

I had a C-section I was in the hospital for 4 days and the day I was released we had to go to Walmart.

The zoo in summer will be crowded and really hot. I’m all for taking a baby out early. But I wouldn’t do that trip I think. Go to the mall. Somewhere with ac.
