Second time mom but I never got a breast pump thru insurance last time and I REALLY regret it!! So... please let me know your thoughts! Both are covered by my insurance.
I'm leaning towards the Spectra but it's hard to find through med supply around here. Are there other ways to order/get one that you've tried??

Yes the spectra is bulky and the medela is so small and compact buuutttt....you get more milk with the spectra and you'll thank yourself later. It's so much more powerful and more quiet too. 
I'm borrowing a medela from a friend just cause I needed a second pump but tbh I stopped using it because it was pissing my off that I was not getting near the amount of milk I usually do 😂😂 I need that milk to freeze!!
So yea I say spectra ALL THE WAY!!!

I got wayyyy more milk with the Spectra than with the Medela. It’s super light weight and quiet, too. 🙌🏻

Spectra! It's pretty bulky, but lightweight. it's quieter, too. I get my extra parts on Amazon. Search for Maymom or Nenesupply. They have pretty good prices.
It's also a closed pump system, so you don't have to worry about milk getting into the tubing/unit to eventually develop mold.
Medela is more popular, but I've always gravitated towards closed pump systems. Pumps are really meant for just one user, but it's good to know I can one day give the pump away to someone else without having to worry about the cleanliness of the unit.

I got the Medela, since lots of people recommended it, but didn't feel like it did a good job. Luckily, I'm home with the little one so I don't need to pump, but if I did, I would have had to buy a better one. I have a fast let down and it still took forever to fill a container. I could've squeezed it out more effectively. I did call the company and had them send me a new one, but still was disappointed.
