so i fell pregnant last july, at my 12 week scan in early october they told me the baby had no heartbeat and had stopped growing at 8 weeks - i had a missed miscarriage.

i’ve just received this letter. bearing in mind that after i had the d&c; they told me they would contact anyone relevant to inform of what had happened and i didn’t need to do this myself. similar happened already, i’m diabetic and have to have yearly eye screening, when pregnant this is every trimester. when my second trimester would have been i got a letter for another eye screening but i ignored it as i thought i didn’t need to go. a few days after the appointment should of been i got another letter asking me to go to an appointment the following week. when i got there the women said ‘so you’re 20 weeks pregnant’ i had to tell her no and that i had a miscarriage, she was very apologetic and said they hadn’t been informed.

i just don’t think this is great with regard to interprofessional practice/ multiagency working 🤷🏼‍♀️ my friends are telling me to complain. would you be annoyed?
