What was your pain at 5cm?

Not sure about 5cm, I was 8cm when I got to the hospital. So I guess pains were okas I must have still been at home.  Had my little girl less than two hours after arriving.

i went to the hospital and was 6 when i arrived so 5 is about when it was getting more painful and decided it was hospital time.

Labored at home til 8 cm, didn't even know I was in labor til 7cm, got to drs at 8 cm

I had backaches at the theater. Chalked it up to the chaira being uncomfortable. Water broke while at the theater, and a few hours later went to hospital. I was about 7cm. I could feel no contractions except the little back pain at theater. They gave me pitocin and then 5 minutes later it was full fledge contractions. Mainly back labor

My water broke and contractions started at home, when we arrived at the hospital I was a 5/6 and they weren’t bad, I had the epidural about 6/7 because the contractions were getting stronger and faster but not dilating at the same pace

Labored for 23 hours and never made it past 4 cm. Ended up having a c-section. But I had an epidural and i had very little to moderate pain with contractions. However the pushing sensation was intense and it did hurt.

When I got to the birthing center I was a 9. So I’m not sure at what point before that I was at a 5. I had a 2 hour labor total but I hear that’s not common. Everyone will experience it differently and has different tolerances to pain.
